A breakthrough in blackberry breeding. The most unique aspect of Reuben is that it is a primocane, therefore the plant will fruit on the first years growth, in the same way as autumn fruiting raspberries do. The plant also has an upright growth habit, making it a far cry from the usual wild blackberry. The fruits are large, measuring up to 4.5cm (2) in length. Like all blackberries, it's delicious cooked but also tastes fantastic straight from the bush. It also has the added bonus of producing very attractive, large white flowers during the months of June and July. The fruits are incredibly sweet peaking at a brix of over 11.5%! Supplied in a 9cm pot.
