A deliciously sweet, small-headed pointed cabbage. Bred by our own group, it boasts excellent flavour, shows good resistance to white blister and holds well when mature. Ideal for growing at reduced spacing. Sow February-June.
Originating from Eastern Europe, this pointed, red cabbage is a beauty. Each head will be ready to cut in the summer/early autumn. There are few outer leaves on Kalibos and its high sugar content make this red variety a fantastic choice for eating raw in salads. Try pickling this variety for a sweeter pickle, or cook with red wine, apple and raisins for a luxurious alternative to boiled cabbage.
