Probably the sweetest variety I have tasted! Unlike other sweetcorn, these produce purple flowers and the stalks & cob leaves are also tinged with purple making them very attractive. The bi-coloured cobs are around 20cm long and the kernels are incredibly tender and almost explode in your mouth. In fact, they are so juicy and sweet I was eating them raw with juice running down my chin!
