A dwarf form of Euonymus, 'Harlequin' with a low spreading habit that makes its white and green leaves (flushed with pink) an ideal ground cover. It is a vine, so can also be trained up a wall. Whilst it can cope with bright shade, like many variegated plants it can be burnt in bright sun. Height 50-60cm.
Euonymus fortunei Emerald Gaiety also known by it’s common name Spindle Emerald Gaiety and is a tough, popular evergreen shrub, often used for ground cover, perfect for winter structure, foil for other ornamental plants and low maintenance gardening. A pretty, oval-shaped leaf, with bright green and white variegations on the margins, that have a deep rose-pink flush to some, but not all, leaves in winter. Flowers are green, but insignificant. Aureomarginatus' is an upright, dense, evergreen shrub bearing oval, leathery, toothed, glossy, dark green leaves with wide, bright yellow margins. Insignificant, green flowers in spring are rarely followed by fruit.
