Salix Integra Hakuro-Nishiki (Standard) Salix 'Hakuro-Nishiki' is a striking willow where the leaves burst into colour with a marbling pink, green and white. When the leaves eventually fall in autumn, the stems reveal a glowing orange for an attractive winter feature. In the spring months, yellow catkins can emergen on the bare stems before the foliage reappears. This variety is ideal for a specimen tree for a small space garden or grown in a container or pot on the patio, courtyard and decking. For maximum results, grow in a sunny or partially shaded position, in any well-drained soil. To get the most colourful foliage, trim back all side branches by a third during July. You can trim through the year to keep the head tidy and in shape with fresh variegated growth, simply prune back branch tips by about 15cm. Height and Spread: 2m (6.6').
