Easy to grow, colourful alternative to spinach. Tree spinach has bright magenta, almost sparkly growing tips. Plants can grow up to 2m tall, hence the name 'Tree' spinach. Striped 'Icebox' watermelon (small enough to keep in your fridge or 'icebox') with early maturity, good plant vigour and cropping. Grey Oyster Mushroom - Book Spawn Grow on a book! Oyster mushrooms are by far the easiest to grow of all the edible fungi. These exotic mushrooms, with their delicate coral-like frills, are as delicious as they are beautiful, and they really do require minimal attention, making them the perfect rookies introduction to Fungiculture. They have a delicate, almost dairy-like flavour and work wonderfully in risottos, soups and creamy pasta sauces. Try dusting them in seasoned flour and frying in searing hot oil where they will crisp up and turn golden. A perfect accompaniment to a posh fry-up or scattered over an autumnal salad.

This prolific-cropping variety, though its been in cultivation since 1668, is something quite unusual, boasting high quality, deliciously sweet fruit with a unique variegated colouration that is certain to make it one of the most talked about items in your garden and your fruit bowl!
