So easy to grow, so productive, so tasty and so versatile! Right now rhubarb is incredibly popular in British homes and kitchens. Rhubarb is versatile - you can use it to make puddings, jams and even as an accompaniment to meat and fish dishes. But it is difficult to find in shops. Easy to grow - Rhubarb is bountiful and incredibly easy to grow - a small patch brings in a big harvest. Once established, it comes up year after year with little attention. Putting your rhubarb at the back of a border provides decorative foliage too. Crowns - With crowns you should always allow them to establish for one year before picking the sticks. A special collection of our three most popular varieties. Comprises 3 crowns (1 of each variety): Timperley Early - One of the earliest to crop, delicious tasting and high yields with thick stems of red changing to green with red markings. Polish Raspberry - Quite possibly the best-tasting rhubarb we have ever trialled! Produces good crops of strong green stems that are washed with red, and taste divine. Victoria - A reliably heavy cropper. An easy-to-grow old favourite. Ideal for beginners as it requires so little attention! The greenish-pink stems have tender flesh with an excellent balance of sweetness and acidity.
