Cabernet is an extremely dense, compact form of the Japanese Barberry, and requires little to no pruning. Its bright crimson new growth is followed by rich burgundy to purple foliage. Flowers April-May. Height 90-100cm. Supplied in a 3 litre pot.

This spherical shrub with leathery and glossy leaves, has branches that grow vertically.
