Choisya Aztec Pearl is a variety of the ever-popular Mexican Orange bush with masses of citrus-scented, pinkish-white, star-shaped flowers in late spring and, usually, again in autumn. It has attractive foliage, too, with a deep, glossy green leaflets. This variety is more compact than the more traditional Choisya ternata, making it ideal for smaller gardens. Choisya Aztec Pearl is best grown in a sheltered position to minimise damage from heavy frost. It prefers light, well-drained soils, and is somewhat drought tolerant. It is sometimes referred to as Choisay ternata Aztec Pearl. Height 100-150cm. Supplied in a 3 litre pot.
